Races of LoZ:
Hylians: Hylians are the main race of Hyrule. In many Zelda games the main Hylian settlement is
a castle, although there are ussually smaller towns and ranches where Hylians live. The Hylians look like humans
with pointed ears. Link is a Hylian. The Hylian Royal Family has been around for generations.

Zora: The Zora resemble evolved fish, and can swim better than any Hylian. There is evidence that the Zoras
and Hylians were once at war (the 'evil zoras' in the first Zelda game), but are now allies of sorts. The scales
of a Zora have the peculiar property of allowing any Hylians possesing them to breath under water. In a tunic
made partly of Zora scales, Link can even breath forever underwater!
Gorons: The Goron are a mountain people who eat rocks and grow bomb flowers within their subterranean mountain
homes. Despite their immense strength and huge size, the Gorons are a relativly peaceful group. The leader
of a Goron tribe is traditional the the biggest and strongest, although very ancient elders are revered. Information
on whether Gorons can breath under water is conflicting. They are seen breathing under water in Twilight Princess,
but in Majora's Mask as a Goron you die if you barely touch water. In Wind Waker, there are only 4 Gorons left alive. Althogh
they may just be on a unexplorible land mass somewere outside of the Great Sea (probably far inland, as Gorons hate water!)
Deku: The Deku appear in almost every Zelda game, although they are not really a race in any game but Majora's
Mask. The diminutive, wooden Dekus are assured that they are better than all other races. Most Dekus are hotheaded but
easily scared. The Dekus in the Swamp are led by a King or Queen (there is a Deku princess and a king in MM,
but no queen at that time). In other games, there are 3 types of Dekus. The cooler and calmer (for a Deku), and relatively
intelligent Business Scrubs; the viscous red-leafed Mad Scrubs; and the yellow-leafed basic Deku Scrubs.
Rutis: Bird-men that evolved from Zoras, the ruti are ruled by their royal family. The serve their Dragon-god
Valoo Valoo. The only significant population of Rutis is found on Dragon Roost Island, a massive mountain which the Ruti
live within.
Twill:The Twill, or Twili, are a shadow race that live in the twilight realm behind the mirror
in Twilight Princess. There is not very much actual seen about them, but it is known that they were banished from Hyrule long
ago. One of the main antagonists in Twilight Princess, Zant, is an evil Twill, and one of the main heroes, Midna, is
also Twili.Their government seems to be ruled by a royal family.
Kokiri:The Kokiri are a small sized forest race that are protected by the Great Deku Tree. The Kokiri never
grow old, and each has a guardian fairy. The Kokiri cannot leave the forest without the Great Deku Tree's blessing.
Korock:The Korock are a race of very small wooden creatures that wear leaf masks. They only live in
Forest Haven and are protected by the Great Deku Tree. They evolved from Kokiri by the time of The Wind Waker.
Garudo:The Garudo are a group of female theives that live in the desert. There is evedence that they often marry Hylians,
as only females are born to the Gerudo! In Twilight Princess there is a Garudo Desert but no Garudos. This may be becuse they
live in a part of it you cannot explore, or the just fled it and now live in castle town. The garudo only have one male born
into their tribe once every 100 year's! That male is always destined to lead the tribe until his death, and is one of the
only males the Gerudo don't hate.
Minish/Picori:The Minish are a super small race. They live all over the place in small holes, and resemble
miniature Hylians. There are a few different kinds of Minish throughout the lands. Minish hide items and Rupees beneath rocks
and in grass.
Minor Races/Sub-Races:
Yeti: The Yetis are new to the Zelda series, and are seen in Twilight Princess. They seem to be very rare, as only
two of them are seen or heard of, and unlike most other races do not have a ruler. The Yetis live at the top of an icy mountain. The
male has a tail and is much bigger than his wife. The female Yetis' fur looks like a blanket, although since she was only
seen while she was sick, she could have been wearing a coat. The Yetis are intelligent but live in a mansion infested
by ice monsters.
Shiekah: The Sheikah are not a complete 'race', as there is only one left by the time of OOT. The Shiekah were the
protecters of the Royal Family of Hyrule. The Sheikah were shadow guardians, who honorably dedicated their own lives to preserving
those of the Royal Family.

Moblins: Moblins, Bulbins, and many other similar creatures are listed here. They are not an 'official' race,
but are enemies in nearly every Zelda game and seemingly have an organized society. A King Bulbin is even seen in Twilight
Princess! These creatures are all very hostile monters and are capable of fighting with a wide range of wepons..
in some games they stab you or throw spears, but in others they attack with wooden swords or bows.
Oocca:The anient Ooccas look like birds with human faces and long necks. They supposedly built Hyrule
long ago, and live in a castle in the sky. They need Link's help to save them from a dragon that attacks their home.
Skull Kids:skull kids are mischevious childlike monsters. They were once kids who got, well, lost in the
Lost Woods and transformed into monsters. They hate all adults, but not children.
Aliens: A very uncommon race the aliens so not much is known about them. They seem to abduct cows for
a unknown reson.
Garo: The Garo are undead spys that can be summoned up by the garo masks in some spots. there
are higher up Garo that are very skillfull. If link defeats a garo it gives him a hint on his quest.

Fairys: The fairys are magical beings that help link on his quests there seem to be 3 typs of fairys. The Fairy
it heals or even brings back peaple from the dead. The Great Fairy gives link upgrades and spells and the Forest fairy gives
infomation and protects some one and come from the forest.
